Special surveillance program for the presence of the quarantine pest Anoplophora chinensis (Forster) in the territory of the Republika Srpska in 2024.

This program establishes the measures, deadlines, method of implementation of measures, entities implementing them, sources and method of provision and use of funds, area of operation and method of control of implementation of special surveillance measures over the presence of Anoplophora chinensis (Forster) in the territory of the Republic of Srpska in 2024. The objective of this program is to determine the presence, or absence, of the quarantine harmful organism Anoplophora chinensis (Forster) in registered nurseries, seedling producers, on agricultural holdings, on public areas, in production plantations of pathogen host plant species, in home gardens and at points of entry of consignments of pathogen host plant species into the Republic of Srpska, which are subject to phytosanitary inspection upon import. Potential host plant species of this harmful organism are the plant species listed in Annex 1. Special surveillance shall be carried out on localities where host plants are grown in the Republika Srpska in order to determine the status of the investigated area for the specified organism and to determine possible routes of entry or spread in the Republika Srpska.
