Abstract
This program establishes measures, deadlines, methods of implementing measures, entities implementing them, sources and methods of providing and using funds, as well as methods of controlling the implementation of special surveillance measures over the presence of Diaporthe vaccinii Shear - the cause of blueberry and cranberry shoot dieback on the territory of the Republic of Srpska in 2024. The objective of this program is to determine the presence, or rather the absence, of the quarantine harmful organism Diaporthe vaccinii Shear - the cause of blueberry and cranberry shoot dieback (hereinafter: D. vaccinii) on agricultural holdings and homesteads where D. vaccinii host plants are grown, which are listed in the Annex of this text. Main host plant species of D. vaccinii in the Republic of Srpska are: Vaccinium sp. - blueberry/cranberry, Vaccinium corymbosum (American highbush blueberry), Vaccinium macrocarpon (cranberry), Vaccinium oxycoccos (swamp cranberry), Vaccinium virgatum (southern black cranberry), as well as other plants listed in Annex 1.
