Special surveillance program for the presence of quarantine pests in registered nurseries in Republika Srpska in 2024.

This program establishes the measures, deadlines, method of implementation of the measures, entities implementing them, sources and method of provision and use of funds, as well as the method of control of the implementation of special surveillance measures over the presence of quarantine pests in registered nurseries on the territory of the Republika Srpska during the year 2024. The objective of this program is to determine the presence, or absence, of quarantine pests on parent trees in registered nurseries and the isolation zone in the Republika Srpska. The objective of special surveillance is also to meet phytosanitary conditions for the production, movement, trade and export of fruit tree planting material. Special surveillance for the detection of quarantine pests shall be carried out upon import and throughout the territory of the Republika Srpska. Laboratory testing of submitted samples, preparation of reports and test results shall be carried out by authorized institutions.
