Special surveillance program for the presence of quarantine viruses on Vaccinium spp. in the Republika Srpska in 2024.

This program establishes measures, deadlines, the method of implementing measures, entities implementing them, sources and the method of providing and using funds, as well as the method of controlling the implementation of special surveillance measures over the presence of quarantine viruses Blueberry leaf mottle virus, BLMoV and Blueberry scorch virus, BlScV on the territory of the Republika Srpska in 2024. The aim of this program is to determine the presence, or absence, of quarantine viruses BLMoV and BlScV at places of production of planting material, in production plantations of host plants, and at places of entry of consignments of planting material that are imported. Special surveillance for the detection of Blueberry leaf mottle virus, BLMoV and Blueberry scorch virus, BlScV shall be carried out at border crossings and throughout the territory of the Republika Srpska, where the production of planting material is based and where production plantations of host plants are located, and also for plants in circulation. Special surveillance and surveillance measures at border crossings, in circulation and in registered nurseries shall be carried out by the Republic Administration for Inspection Affairs.
