Bangladesh Economic Zones (Amendment) Act, 2015 (Act No. 29 of 2015).

This Act amends the Bangladesh Economic Zones Act, 2010 (principal Act). It adds a new clause 9A to section 2 of the principal Act, providing the definition of partnership of Government of Bangladesh with government of another country. Section 4 of the principal Act is amended to add new clauses (e) and (f) relating to economic enterprise or zone formed in partnership between the Government of Bangladesh and any company or industrial group or one or more government agencies. Further, new sections 7A and 7B are added in respect of partnership between Government of Bangladesh and government of any other country and implementation of the plans. Sections 5 and 8 of the principal Act are also amended.
