Abstract
This Regulation defines the requirements for bottled natural mineral, spring and table waters intended for drinking purposes, including the conditions and procedures for water treatments, and import of mineral waters.
These rules shall not apply to: mineral waters used for balneotherapy; mineral waters, with a composition which allows their use for healing purposes only; bottled water for export purposes; bottled waters to which aromatic products, sweeteners, colorants and other food additives have been added.
The Annex is also part of this publication (containing the following: certification models; list of requirements and criteria for studies necessary for the issuance of certificates; list of requirements for chemical and radiological properties of natural mineral waters; residue content requirements for the treatment of ozone-enriched natural mineral, spring and table waters; bottled water markings).
