Abstract
This Decree here adopts the measures contained in the Ordinance on the conditions and the procedure for application of the scheme for delivering fruit and vegetables in educational establishments (School Fruit Scheme).
This text introduces the requirements stipulated by the: Council Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 of 22 October 2007 establishing a common organization of agricultural markets and on specific provisions for certain agricultural products; and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 500/2014 of 11 March 2014 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council by amending Commission Regulation (EC) No 288/2009 as regards the granting of aid for accompanying measures in the framework of a School Fruit and Vegetables Scheme.
This text further set the rules and necessary conditions and procedures regarding the effective organization of the implementation of fruit and vegetables scheme in educational establishments.
The Annex is also part of this publication (list of suitable fruits and vegetables and their minimum quantities/portions per single consumer).
