Law amending the Law on Water.

This Law amends certain provisions provided by the Law on water (Official Gazette 67/1999; 81/2000; 34, 41 and 108/2001; 47, 74 and 91/2002; 42, 69, 84 and 107/2003; 6 and 70/2004; 18, 77 and 94/2005; 29, 30, 36 and 65/2006; 66/2006; 105 and 108/2006; 22 and 59/2007; 36, 52 and 70/2008; 12, 32, 35, 47, 82, 93, 95 and 103/2009; 61 and 98/2010; 19, 28, 35 and 80/2011; 45, 77 and 82/2012; 66 and 103/2013; 26, 49, 53 and 98/2014; 12, 14, 17, 58, 61, 95 and 101/2015; and 15/2016).
Changes are related to the duties of various competent state institutions and their relevant tasks; and some environmental related issues. Specific provisions are added in article 151 as regards the control over the emergency releases of wastewaters and rules of the Director of the respective Basin Directorate that shall issue a permit for use of water for the seizure of nanoparticles in relation to the planned river bed cleaning activities.
