Abstract
This Ordinance, based on the provisions of the national Agro-food chain management Law, determines: the control measures applied by the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) for monitoring of the substances and residue groups specified in Annex № 1; the requirements to the systems for self-control of the owners of animals and food of animal origin, intended for human consumption, for residues; the measures taken by the BFSA in case of suspicion or establishment of a violation in establishing the presence of certain substances and residues thereof in live animals and foodstuffs of animal origin.
