Ordinance No. 12 of 23 August 2023 on the terms and conditions for the use of plant protection products.

This Ordinance defines the conditions and procedure for the use of plant protection products. The control over the use of plant protection products shall be carried out by the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency. Plant protection products are used when they are allowed to be placed on the market and used through a permit issued by the competent state bodies. All plant protection products will be used: 1. in accordance with the authorization for use and in the manner indicated on the label; 2. in a way that does not allow damage to other plants and plant products and does not endanger the health of people and animals, the environment and biodiversity; 3. according to the principles of good crop protection practice.
