The act mandates strict control measures for plant protection, including official inspections, sampling, and laboratory testing. It emphasizes the importance of maintaining good plant health, implementing integrated pest management principles, and ensuring safe usage of plant protection products. The act also includes provisions for specialized plant protection services, training, and certification of professionals, aiming to reduce risks and promote sustainable practices in plant protection.
