Ordinance No. 8 of 20 June 2023 on the terms and conditions for implementing interventions from the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas for the period 2023-2027 in the beekeeping sector.

This Ordinance regulates the conditions and procedure for implementing the interventions under article 55 of Regulation 2021/2115 (EU) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 2 December 2021 establishing rules to support the strategic plans to be drawn up by the Member States under the common agricultural policy (CAP strategic plans ) and financed by the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), and repealing Regulations (EU) No 1305/2013 and (EU) No 1307/2013 (OB, L 435 of 6.12.2021) (Regulation (EU) 2021/2115) in the beekeeping sector, included in the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas of the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2023 - 2027, hereinafter referred to as " The strategic plan". Financial assistance is provided for interventions that contribute to achieving the specific objectives of the Strategic Plan: 1. improving market orientation and increasing the competitiveness of farms in the short and long term, including a greater focus on research, technology and digitization; 2. stopping the loss of biological diversity and reversing this trend, improving ecosystem services and protecting habitats and landscapes. Changes in interventions in the beekeeping sector are carried out in accordance with article 48 (paragraphs 1-3) of the Law on assistance to agricultural producers.
