Abstract
This Regulation amends several provisions of the Regulation No 16 of 3 February 2006 on protection and humane treatment in the production and use of farm animals (from the Official Gazette of the Republic of Bulgaria 18/2006).
Changes are related to the introduction of new national institution and competent bodies (Bulgarian Food Safety Agency; Regional Food Safety Directorate); introduction of the requirements in accordance with the provisions of the 2006/778/EC Commission Decision of 14 November 2006 concerning minimum requirements for the collection of information during the inspections of production sites on which certain animals are kept for farming purposes; changes to the Annex (new Annexes are part oft his publication).
