Abstract
This Regulation defines the basic criteria and rules for the safety of research nuclear installations (denominated RNI). The concrete rules here stipulated are organizational measures and technical requirements.
The Regulation contains detailed instructions related to the design, basic and advanced safety evaluations, the characteristics of the site and the safety requirements for the research nuclear installations.
This Regulation also defines the administrative provisions and the technical requirements aimed to ensure the safety during the stages of site selection, design, construction, commissioning and operation.
