Regulation No. 1 of 1.07.2016 approving the methodology for the application of exceptions (articles 156b-156e of the Water Law).

This Regulation sets the methodology to be implemented when demanding the exemption (also to justify exceptions; and for acceptance of such exemptions by the European Commission) from the rules determined by articles 156b-156e of the Bulgarian Water Law.
The above mentioned articles are related to the necessary review of grounds and implementation of specific environmental protection issues, also in relation with the good water status and adaptation of environmental objectives to water management related ones (highly modified water bodies, artificial water bodies).
The Annex is also an integrated part of this text (list of full technical requirements and parameters).
