Abstract
This Regulation establishes limit values for admissible emissions (concentration of waste gases) of sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and dust released into the atmosphere from large combustion plants which are used for energy production in order to prevent harmful impacts on human health and on the environment.
This Regulation shall apply to all large combustion plants except for those listed in article 3.

This Regulation repeals Regulation No. 15 on the emission limit values (concentration of waste gases) of sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and total dust discharged from new large combustion plants in the atmospheric air (SG No. 73 of 1999).Amendments to various Regulations are given in the Transitional and Conclusive Provisions.
