Abstract
The Regulation sets out emission standards for admissible content of hazardous and dangerous substances in waste water discharged in water bodies in order to prevent, eliminate or reduce water pollution. The text of the Regulation is divided into four Chapters, Additional, Transitional and Final Provisions and one Annex. The Chapters deal with the following: general requirements (10); issuance of permits and documentation needed for the application (2); establishment of emission limits for discharges of waste waters into surface water bodies (3); administrative and penal liability (4). All definitions are given in the additional provisions. Schedule I of the Annex contains a sample application form for permits for existing sites and Schedule II contains a sample application form for permits for sites in construction or yet to be designed.
