Abstract
This Regulation defines the measures for the prevention, limitation and eradication of avian influenza (bird flu), present in poultry, decorative and racing pigeons, and poultry kept indoor.
These rules are not meant for wild, freely living birds.
This text closely sets the measures aimed at protecting the national territory from the penetration and spread of avian influenza; measures in case of suspicion of avian influenza; diagnosis of avian influenza; epizotic measures for the containment and eradication of avian influenza.
The Annex is part of this publication (list of contents of the operational plan for the occurrence of avian influenza; and complete bird avian influenza diagnostic methods for confirmation and differential diagnosis).
