Abstract
This Regulation defines the mandatory animal health requirements for the approval of establishments engaged in the producing of game meat, and rules for the processing of game meat deriving form hunted wild animals.
This text also sets the requirements as regards the marketing of such game meat, and sets the types of control for the verification over the necessary compliance with the requirements here stipulated.
These rules shall not apply to small number of untamed or uncooked wild game and unproven small game, which is shipped directly from the hunter to the consumer or to retail stores, and shall not apply in some other occasions (see article 1, paragraph 2).
All indicated control activities in terms of this Regulation, shall be performed by the bodies of the State Veterinary and Sanitary Control, and by the bodies of the State Sanitary Control.
