Regulation No. 2 of 17 February 2015 on eligibility criteria for agricultural land support schemes and measures.

This Regulation, in function of tasks prescribed by the Law on support to farmers, determines the: criteria for classification of agricultural land, in relation to its further possible support request; general and special conditions for eligibility for support aimed for users of agricultural land on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria; and sets out the necessary elements of the environment that shall be considered when evaluating the eligibility status.
The adopted criteria for the classification of agricultural land is listed in the Section II; general and special conditions for eligibility for support are in Section III; Eligibility conditions for support of permanent grassland in Section IV; list of eligible environmental elements is in Section V; list of specific eligibility conditions for area support requested under measures of Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 and of Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 is in Section VI.
This text adopts the terms and definitions used in Regulation (EU) No 1307/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013 establishing rules for direct payments to farmers under support schemes within the framework of the common agricultural policy and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 637/2008 and Council Regulation (EC) No 73/2009.
