Abstract
This Regulation sets the rules to be respected when issuing permits for wastewater discharge into surface water bodies, including technical parameters aimed to determine the individual emission limits for specific pollution source.
This text further defines the mandatory registration requirements as regards the obtained discharge permits, also in accordance with the provisions of the Bulgaria Water Law.
The major purpose of this Regulation is to provide the necessary conditions for pollution abatement (hazardous substances monitoring, reduction of number of discharges, sewage construction and improvement) and conservation of the quality of surface waters in which wastewaters are discharged in a controlled manner, also by setting the stricter individual emission limits.
