Abstract
This Regulation defines the necessary requirements as regards the separate collection of bio-waste; suitable types of bio-waste and other biodegradable waste for recover; technical conditions and product quality requirements resulting from recovery operations; and specific requirements for use of the resulting compost, fermentation product, organic soil improvers, stabilized organic fraction from the mechanical-biological treatment process.
These rules are meant for biodegradable waste and biowaste originating from households and other sites covered by municipal separate collection systems practices; and from households and other sites that are covered by municipal mixed waste collection systems.
The Annex is also part of this publication (list of eligible types of biodegrades and biodegradable waste).
