Abstract
This Regulation determines various safety conditions to be respected when dealing/handling/processing the genetically modified organisms (GMOs) on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The Regulation also sets the rules for carrying out the risk assessment of the GMO work in controlled conditions; the precautionary and protective measures; and requirements for management and handling the deriving generated genetically modified waste.
The rules apply to genetically modified micro-organisms (GMMs) in order to impose specific safety conditions (prevention of their uncontrolled and/or accidental release) for human health and for environment (plants or animals).
