Abstract
This Regulation provides for the tobacco plant seed categories that are produced and marketed, and sets the necessary market certification rules. These provisions are meant for tobacco seed of the botanical specie Nikotiana Tabacum.
This text also sets the rules on classification of tobacco seeds which are produced, certified and marketed; the terms and procedure for certification of seeds; the subsequent packaging of seeds in small packages; the germination inspection of seed; the conditions and procedure for carrying out ex-post controls.
The Annex is part of this publication (list of tobacco seed technical requirements; necessary information and data that has to be labelled).
