Regulation No. 3 of 5 August 2014 on the requirements for the order and the way of inventory of equipment containing polychlorinated biphenyls, its marking and cleaning, as well as on the treatment and transportation of waste containing polychlorinated biphenyls.

Abstract
This Regulation hereby defines the necessary order and manner for inventory and marking of equipment containing polychlorinated biphenyls (here denominated as PCBs), including methods for the cleaning of equipment containing such material.
The major purpose of these provisions is to prevent the harmful impact on human health and environment; to set the requirements for the treatment and transport of waste containing polychlorinated biphenyls; to determine the mandatory waste disposal operations and issues for obtaining the related permits (the list of general prohibitions is determined by the provisions of article 3).
The transport rules (within the European Union member countries) are in accordance with conditions and procedures brought by the Regulation (EC) 1013/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 June 2006 on shipments of waste.
This regulation also implements the rules provided by the Council Directive 96/59/EC of 16 September 1996 on the disposal of polychlorinated biphenyls and polychlorinated terphenyls.
The Annex is part of this text.
