Regulation No 5 of 8 September 2017 on the arrangements for implementing temporary exceptional market support measures in the fruit sector.

This Regulation sets the terms and legal and procedural conditions for the application of temporary exceptional market support measures for the fruit sector, aimed at providing the support to fruit growers who have suffered from the ban on imports of certain products from the European Union to the Russian Federation.
This text provides for concrete application of the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/1165 of 20 April 2017 laying down temporary exceptional support measures for producers of certain fruits.
This Regulation is based on the provisions part of the Law on the implementation of the common organization of agricultural markets of the European Union.
This kind of support is here aimed for individual producers; and organizations of fruit producers who implement operational programmes approved under the terms and procedure stipulated by the Regulation No. 11 of 2007.
