Regulation No. 52 of 2006 on health requirements for sheep and goats when moving or transporting them between the Republic of Bulgaria and other Member States of the European Union for determining the health status of facilities from which they originate and on additional guarantees for the health status of these facilities.

This Regulation defines: the necessary health requirements for sheep and goats when moving or transporting them between the Republic of Bulgaria and other Member States of the European Union; the requirements for determining the health status of facilities from which sheep and goats originate; the additional guarantees for the health status of facilities and regions from which these sheep and goats originate. Also all sheep and goats intended for slaughtering will respect these rules.
The National Veterinary Service is here indicated as the competent national body in charge of task described in the text (such as data exchange and direct information delivery to the European Union competent bodies.
