Abstract
This Regulation provides several rules regarding the production and effective quantity of basic raw material used for the production of sugar, and quantity of isoglucose used for such production purpose.
This text also sets the terms and procedures for determination, transfer, reduction and increase of sugar production quotas, and isoglucose production quotas; the export rules for sugar and isoglucose produced outside basic production quotas; the procedure for keeping the register of sugar and isoglucose producers; the procedure for determining total quantities of sugar and isoglucose produced; for supplying sugar and isoglucose production information and for checking the information provided; the procedure for control over the production of sugar and isoglucose as regards the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette, with the exception of articles 2 (paragraph 2) and 7 (paragraph 7) that will enter into force on the day of the Bulgarian accession into the European Union.
