Abstract
This Regulation sets the conditions and the order for the effective implementation of targeted Environmental Protection and Climate Measure under the number 10 "Agroecology and Climate" part of the National Rural Development Programme for the period from 2014 to the year 2020.
This Programme is financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). List of European Union reference document is in article 1 paragraph 3.
These measures have the following objectives: preservation and maintenance of permanent grassland areas with high nature value and associated species by promoting or restoring traditional practices for semi-natural grassland management; prevention of the future loss of grassland caused by turning them into arable land or overgrazing them; preservation and protection of biodiversity; protection of endangered rare breeds and traditional varieties; conservation of natural habitats of wild fauna and flora; prevention of the soil erosion and improvement of its management; increasing the soil fertility.
The Annex is also part of this publication (list of habitats and species).
