Abstract
This Regulation sets the terms for the characterization, classification and representation of the conditions and of potentials as regards the Bulgarian surface water bodies.
This Regulation determines the requirements for surface water bodies in areas such as river basins, lakes, transitional waters or coastal waters, or artificial surface water bodies and/or strongly modified ones; further determines the boundaries of each basin district, the location and boundaries of all types of surface water bodies within the boundaries of each river basin management area, as well as their initial characterization; and provides with respect to monitoring issues for the type and quantity of the pressure of human activity on specific water body.
