Abstract
This Regulation defines the obligations of natural and legal persons who perform activities such as storage and related handling of hazardous chemical substances and deriving mixtures, including the general requirements for the storage and the organization of such facilities/sites.
These provisions are aimed at defining the correct order and manner of assessment and implementation of necessary safety issues for the storage of dangerous chemical substances and mixtures on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
This text respects the provisions of the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures; and Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), establishing a European Chemicals Agency.
