Abstract
This Regulation determines the composition, functions, structure, organization and related activities of the Bulgarian National Council for Genetic Resources in livestock.
The above mentioned Council shall be a permanent advisory body to the National Coordinator for genetic resources in livestock or animal husbandry. Main tasks are regarding the need to determine certain national priorities for the management, conservation and sustainable use of national genetic resources in animal husbandry.
Article 3 sets out the functions of the Council, determined as assistance under the form of making proposals and delivering opinions aimed at fulfillment of breeding, management and preservation of genetic resources of livestock, with the purpose of achievement of related task and objectives.
