Abstract
This Law officially regulates: the organization and management of livestock; breeding of livestock on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria; the production of livestock, semen, ova and embryos (genetic materials and resources); the marketing of live animals, semen, ova and embryos; the status of operation and assistance for livestock organizations; the rights and obligations of natural and legal entities related to the activities in livestock sector; the conditions and prerequisites for sustainable development in livestock sector; inspection and offences and penalties.
