Regulation on procedures of the Executive Agency "Certification Audit of European Agricultural Funds".

This Regulation determines the activity, structure, functions, organization of work and the number of staff of the Bulgarian Executive Agency "Certification Audit of European Agricultural Funds", which is part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
This Agency shall be a legal entity and shall carry out the activities under article 28b of the Law on farmers' Support, as well as the activities under Chapter Five of the Public Internal Audit Act with regard to the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF). The Agency performs the functions of: certifying body under the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD); 2. audit body under the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
The budget of the Agency shall receive funds from: 1. financing under joint programmes with the European Union and other international organizations; 2. issuance and distribution of brochures, reports, developments and other specialized publications in the field of specific audit activities under funds and programmes of the European Union; 3. participation in international programmes, projects and agreements; 4. conducting trainings in the field of carrying out specific audit activities under funds and programmes of the European Union; 5. other acceptable sources.
