Decree No. 43 of 2005 reorganizing the Public Commission for the Protection of Marine Resources, Environment and Wildlife.

The aim of this Decree is to protect marine wealth, the environment and wildlife. This Decree is composed of 3 articles. Article 1 reorganizes the General Authority for the Protection of Marine Wealth, Environment and Wildlife as follows: (a) the Public Relation and Information Department which shall be placed under the control of the President of the Authority; (b) the General Department for Marine Wealth Protection shall be divided into Marine Resources Department and Fish Resources Department; (c) the General Department for Environment and Wildlife Protection shall include the Environment Control Department, the Environment Projecting and Assessment Department and the Natural Protected Areas Department; and (d) the General Department for Resources and Services shall be divided into Human Resources and Finance Department and Services and Maintenance Department.
