Decree No. 46 of 2003 reorganizing the General Authority for the Protection of Marine Wealth, Environment and Wildlife.

The aim of this Decree is to protect marine wealth, the environment and wildlife. This Decree is composed of 3 articles. Article 1 reorganizes the General Authority for the Protection of Marine Wealth, Environment and Wildlife as follows: (a) Administration Affairs and Finance shall be placed under the control of the President of the Authority; (b) the General Department for Marine Wealth Protection shall be divided into Marine Wealth Department and Fish Wealth Department which shall be placed under the control of the Director-General of Marine Wealth Protection; (c) the General Department for Environment and Wildlife Protection shall include the Environment Control Department, Environment Projecting and Assessing Department and the Natural Protected Areas Department; and (d) the Maintenance and Services Department shall be placed under the control of the Director-General of Environment and Wildlife Protection. Article 2 repeals all texts and rules which are incompatible with this Decree.
