Abstract
This Law consisting of 9 articles approves the Veterinary Medical Professions Law adopted by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and that mandates that any veterinary establishment must be licensed by the relevant authority, which oversees animal health and veterinary products. The Law defines the competent authority as the administration responsible for livestock and veterinary medicines and establishes the minister in charge of livestock matters. It allows the Minister to determine the fees for services and licenses after obtaining the Council of Ministers' approval. Violations, such as practicing without a license, providing false information for licensure, impersonating a veterinarian, or using misleading materials, can lead to imprisonment. Additional fines apply for conducting unauthorized experiments or sending animal samples abroad without approval.
