Legislative Decree No. 16 of 1989 amending Law No. 3 of 1975 on public health.

This Legislative Decree amends Law No. 3 of 1975 as follows: (a) addition of article 44b concerning the ban on the discharge and drainage of waste, refuse, toxic and hazardous substances into coastal waters, and in streets, public places and the like; and (b) addition of article 77b concerning the destruction of seized food and beverages harmful and noxious to health.
