Abstract
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Fisheries Act, the following Regulations establish the following aspects of fishing activity: No person shall keep, breed, sell, purchase, import into or export from Brunei Darussalam the species of fish known as piranha. Piranha not to be released into river. No person shall release any piranha into any river, stream, canal, channel, watercourse, reservoir, lake or other body of water. Any person who contravenes regulation 2 or 3 is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,500 and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year.
