Abstract
The Act is divided in the following Parts: I Preliminary; II Reserved Forests, IIA Licence and Use Permit, IIB Forest Development Fund; III Penalties and Procedures; IV Rules. It provides for the protection of forests and their products. The Reserved Forests shall be zoned and restrictions applied in terms of felling trees, harvest fruit or honey, gather firewood or samplings, let cattle grazing, remove stones or minerals, all of those included in the concept of forest products.
