Forest Act [Amendment] Order, 2007.

This Forest Act [Amendment] Order establishes to amend, insert and delete several sections of the above mentioned Forest Act. Amendments deal with the following matters: new definitions in appropriate alphabetical order, composition and functions of forest officers and competent forestry agencies, Delegation of power by the Director of Forestry, Classification of reserved forest, Requirements to entry into restricted forest areas, Power to declare forest no longer reserved, licensing requirements with respect to forestry resource management taken from any reserved forest or State lands, Power to issue licences or permits by tenders, Forest Development Fund, Prohibition on taking of, forest produce from reserved forest unless licensed, etc.
