Abstract
This Order makes provision for the survey of ships and the registration and marking of ships as Brunei Darussalam ships. It also sets out procedures and requirements for a ship to be registered as a Brunei Darussalam ship in the register to be kept with the Registrars of Brunei Darussalam.
The Order further provides rules relative to ships and navigation such as the employment of seamen, crew matters, operation of ships, keeping of logbooks, licensing of ships, survey and safety of ships, safety of navigation, inquiries and investigations, liabilities and limitation of liabilities, etc.
