Abstract
These Regulations consisting of 6 articles aim to protect public health by ensuring that meat and meat products are transported safely and hygienically, thereby preventing contamination and ensuring the wholesomeness of food for consumers. The main provisions concen (i) transportation of meat and meat products is prohibited unless conducted in containers that are clean, corrosion-resistant, and capable of maintaining appropriate temperatures, with strict compliance required to prevent contamination; (ii) the Director or an authorized officer may inspect vehicles transporting meat and meat products, directing them to stop for container checks, taking samples for examination, and preventing the sale of potentially contaminated products. Non-compliance with these directives can result in fines.
