Abstract
This Decree creates the National Park of "Serra daS Confusões" within the State of Piauí. It consists of 6 articles establishing the aforementioned protected area which main purposes are to protect and preserve its endemic wildlife, ecosystem and habitat carrying out relevant scientific research programmes. Geographical limits are specified in the text. Control and management shall be under the competence of the Brazilian Institution for Environment and Natural Renewable Resources - IBAMA.
