Abstract
This Decree establishes the National Women's Entrepreneurship Strategy "Elas Empreendem" and the Women's Entrepreneurship Committee. This intersectoral Strategy aims to promote female entrepreneurship as an instrument for socio-economic inclusion and for the country's development through articulation and coordination between bodies and entities of the federal public administration, the private sector and civil society. The objectives of this Strategy are: foster a business environment favourable to the development of enterprises and companies led by women; improving income, productivity and sustainability of enterprises led by women; facilitate women's access to public entrepreneurship policies and services; promote an institutional and regulatory environment favourable to female entrepreneurship; and encourage the production of data and the dissemination of information on female entrepreneurship. The purpose of the Women's Entrepreneurship Committee is to propose, monitor, evaluate and coordinate the implementation of this Strategy.
