Decree No. 1.556 regulating the State Council of Water Resources of Pará (CERH/PA).

This Decree establishes the State Water Resources Council of Pará (CERH/PA), as a consultative, deliberative and normative body, created by State Law No. 6.381 of 25 July 2001, linked to the Managing Body of the State Water Resources Policy of Pará. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Council, entitled to deal with water resources relating to the following sectors: a) waterway transport and navigation; b) industry; c) agriculture; d) hydroelectricity; e) fisheries and aquaculture; f) mineral water; g) institutions responsible for providing public water supply and sewage services.
