Decree No. 16.173 approving the Statute of the Mato Grosso do Sul Tourism Foundation (FUNDTUR).

This Decree approves the Statute regulating the Tourism Foundation of Mato Grosso do Sul (FUNDTUR). FUNDTUR, established by Decree No. 10.552 of 14 November 2001, based on the authorization contained in Law No. 2.307 of 9 October 2001, linked to the State Secretariat for Tourism, Sport, Culture and Citizenship, under the art. 22 of Law No. 6. 035 of 26 December 2022, is a non-profit legal entity governed by public law, with its own assets, administrative and financial autonomy, headquarters and jurisdiction. FUNDTUR's purposes are to: foster, encourage and promote the development of tourism in the state; identify, select and advertise tourism investment opportunities in the state; making the economic activity of the State's tourist resources viable and advertising its attractions; collect, organize and produce data and information on tourism demand and supply in the State; induce the development and implementation of infrastructure services in areas of tourist interest; provide technical guidance to tourism enterprises and destinations in the State; carry out other activities assigned to it in its area of activity.
