Abstract
This Decree, consisting of 11 articles, regulates the State Environmental Council of Pará (COEMA/PA). COEMA/PA is a consultative, deliberative and normative body, part of the State System of Environment and Water Resources (SISEMA) and linked to the Secretariat of State for the Environment and Sustainability of Pará (SEMAS/PA). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Council. SEMAS will provide logistical support to COEMA and IDEFLOR-Bio, in the context of its competencies, should provide technical and operational support to the Council.
