Decree No. 3.179-R regulating Law No. 9.866 on the State Fund for Water and Forestry Resources of Espírito Santo (FUNDÁGUA).

This Decree regulates the State Fund for Water and Forestry Resources of Espírito Santo (FUNDÁGUA), linked to the State Secretariat for the Environment and Water Resources (SEAMA). This Fund is responsible for the collection and application of resources as one of the instruments of the State Policy for Water Resources and to enable the maintenance and recovery of the State's forestry cover, in order to provide financial support and help the implementation of these objectives. The resources of FUNDÁGUA from sources provided for in art. 2 of Law 8.966/2012, may be applied specifically to actions, programmes or projects provided for in Articles 6 and 7 of said Law, considering the interest, obligations or objectives agreed with institutions or individuals that allocate resources.
