Decree No. 49.244 creating the Internal Control Unit within the Institute for Sustainable Agricultural, Livestock and Forestry Development of the State of Amazonas (IDAM).

This Decree creates the Internal Control Unit (UCI) within the Institute for Sustainable Agricultural, Livestock and Forestry Development of the State of Amazonas (IDAM). UCI is responsible to carry out internal control; assess compliance with the targets set in the multi-annual plan, implementation of government programmes and the budgets of the body/entity; participate in the sectoral planning process, producing information and analyzing indicators, controlling and evaluating administrative performance and action routines, suggesting the correct procedure to achieve maximum efficiency for IDAM; verify the legality of acts that result in expenditure, the creation or extinction of rights and obligations and the movement of assets and evaluate their results; implement the use of information technology tools as an instrument for controlling IDAM's accounts; take measures that provide full transparency to the management acts of the IDAM Director.
